Thank you to everyone who came out today for our August event.
I know the morning looked rough with the rain, but it cleared up just as we got everyone launched and turned into a fantastic day.
Thank you to TeamIWD, all our volunteers, special thanks to Priscilla for the amazing food
but most of all thank you to all the Vets, for your service, your laughs, your amazing spirit and "what rain? We're going out" attitude!!!
You guys rock!! .. Can't wait to do it all again next month!

Thank you to all that make this a success every month. So great to spend time with good people who care enough to make a difference in a veteran's life. These brave men gave up so much us for and its great to honor them. Thanks for coming out even though the weather said stay home. Mother nature gave us a break to have enough time to have fun.


I only took one pic today since my camera is not working but I got the pic with my phone that counted for Adam. He caught a drum.

Well, when you invite these Vets out for a day of kayak fishing, you'd better show up because they will be there waiting for you, rain or shine! Thanks for your service and for coming out to the event.

After the rain passed through it turned out to be great weather for the cookout. Awesome food! Great job to all the cooks!

In the words of Dave,"a little LIGHT rain" I have no idea what planet he was on but it turned out to be a great day and the fishing was not bad either.
