wanted to get out on the water at least one last time and yesterday looked too good to not be out on the water! Met Charlie G at Lonnie Wurn at about 9am, we unloaded and set off to go catch some fish. Weather was perfect, a little chilly to start off, but that gave me the chance to test out the new hip waders the wife got me for Christmas. We paddled out to our first spot, and Charlie starts laying into the rat reds, then a nice 21" red. I quickly followed with a fat 22.5" red of my own. After a lull, and a quick trip back to the launch (yes Melita - the monster came up on me

), we met back up at our next spot. Charlie continued to put on the clinic catching some nice black drum and a very nice 28" redfish. Great day on the water with a great friend, calm waters, blue bird skies, great laughs, and a great day! took some video and still trying to learn how to upload, but will get them up as soon as I can.

Nice catching you two! I can't believe you went out without me!!!

Charlie didn't even tell me about the 28" red until today.
