wednesday is hump day?

UNREAD_POSTby papatone8 » Wed Sep 14, 2011 8:14 pm

hit the water for a couple tree hours this late afternoon... got out a bit later than I wanted. Had spent the morning at the beach, so was a little sluggish this afternoon. get out to my favorite low tide spot in Browns creek. first cast landed a nice 19.5" redfish... second spot, landed a fat 25.25" redfish. started working my way back to the "lake" when I see another red slam some bait by the shoreline... cast out, and landed this 18" redfish! heard another red bust bait again, maybe 20 feet away... cast out, and landed a 22" redfish. Had a couple more on, but broke off. all in all I'd say it was a decent couple of hours on the water.

on a side note... paddled back to the launch and the wife and my 2 little boys were there to greet me. so I took my boys on their first kayak voyage (albeit we were only maybe 15 feet from the launch at most)... she took some pics for me, so that was pretty cool...

shoulda snuck out to meet me Dave! :D
