Hey gang,

Great event this weekend, No rain and the wind died down.
Thank you to the 16 warriors and their families that came out and all the volunteers.
You can all post your pics of todays event here and I will upload the video later as soon as I have it all edited.

Remember folks our April event will be the 22nd at Hooters on San Jose Blvd.
It will be our regular event, but with 6 prizes to give away for the 6 biggest fish caught.
Each prize pack is valued at $500 bucks. All we ask from all our participants and volunteers is a $50 donation to The Wounded Warrior project.

My inaugural IWDWarriors event was so much fun! Thanks, IWD & all the volunteers! All I've been able to do since coming home is shower, nap, and check the forum for pics, hahaha.... @Scott: you're gonna be my fishing coach then?

Well, I woke up to thunder, lightning, pouring rain, and gusting winds. I loaded the yaks and gear in the truck and headed for Kayak Amelia. When I arrived at KA the rain had stopped, but it was still overcast and very windy. Despite all that, the people came. Lots of people came. What a great turnout!

I'd like to thank all the Warriors who joined us. We appreciate you and hope you'll join us again.
Thank you to all fellow volunteers for keeping things organized, and for all the great food.
Thank you Kayak Amelia for letting us use your facility again.
